World Cancer Day
February the 4th is a day Australia comes together to spread awareness on the different types of cancer, prevention, early detection and cancer treatment options.
Cancer is a disease which affects healthy cells within the body. If left untreated, tumours can develop and spread into surrounding tissue, or to different parts of the body via the bloodstream and lymphatic systems. Cancer can affect the digestive, nervous and circulatory systems or release hormones that may affect body function.
At Neuro junction our team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists provides patients with support and a safe environment to increase functional capacities whilst working towards their individual goals.
